New album from Blue Moon Marquee, the gipsy blues duo from the Badlands of the Canadian Rocky Mountain prairies. They are influenced by the most primitive blues, roots folk, swing and ragtime. A.W. Cardinal, a Metis from Cree, howls with a powerful voice and plays guitar influenced by both blues and jazz. Jasmine Colette, also known as Badlands Jazz, is the rhythm section that not only plays the double bass but also plays percussion with its feet. His fiery performances and fiery onstage chemistry are the trademark of the house, and what drives audiences wild.

Torre Hornero Sessions is the first EP of the group from Zaragoza PETRELLI originally formed by Eduardo Tomás -Zomas– (drums) and Miguel Ángel Gutiérrez -Prise- (guitar) as sound base and musical projects. His weekly rehearsal venue in Movera, Zaragoza, gives this work its title, a place through which different musicians have passed and participated in enjoying sessions and exploring new sounds. Finally, this long-awaited album comes to light along with two other names from the Aragonese scene: Guillermo Mata (bass and production) and Eric Castiglia (vocals). Torre Hornero Sessions finished recording at the beginning of the year and was mixed in the midst of a pandemic, using videoconferencing and new technologies. It is made up of four songs heir to American rock and even punk rock. These vintage references add up to a fresh sound, with its own style, brand and class. In the musical background of PETRELLI, the composition of three instrumental songs stands out to accompany the audiovisuals of the exhibition on the Battle of Dunbar, pieces from the most important archaeological find that took place in 2016 in the North of England. The show was organized by the Durham University Department of Archaeology, and won the 2019 Living North Award.

Nikki Sudden and Dave Kusworth, or what is the same, the Jacobites, were formed in the early 80's as one of the most special and essential bands that arose from the underground British scene. Sunthunder Records is proud to be part of the small velvet universe contained in this 7", which contains two unreleased songs by Sudden & Kusworth.
On one side we have a tune that Nikki recorded in 2003 with his friend Joey Skidmore and other French artists. "The Otter Song" keeps the intensity of the greatest Sudden moments, with a remarkable John Rivers as engineer/producer for most of the discography by this Birmingham lot.
So what's on the other side? Dave Kusworth's "Apartment to compartment", an early-day classic on the Jacobites set list, a Rock & Roll smack in the purest Rolling Stones' "Exile on Main Street" style Recorded in Spain with Los Tupper, a Spanish support band that fits the Jacobite sound like a glove.
