At last! THE TELESCOPES first four EPs are compiled in order to reissue their studio recordings 1989-1990. NIGHT MIASMA with members from East German Postpunk-band L‘APPEL DU VIDE plays a seldom heard mix of Dark Punk with a very melodic edge reminescent of early LA-Punkbands like Adolescents, 45 Grave or T.S.O.L.. Deep and harmonic vocals borrowed from old british or belgian Postpunkbands and a creepy Coldwave-organ build up a melancholic atmosphere. But the four songs never drift into depressing territory. Melodic guitar hooks and up-tempo drums create a positve despair.

As soon as the opening track of Electric Children begins you realize that the Monkeywrench have gotten much tighter in this their second álbum, since their debut eight years before. The production also seems more raw, possibly due to the fact that the band has moved from Conrad Uno to veteran Seattle producer Jack Endino, who also engineered the first releases from bassist Steve Turner and vocalist Mark Arm's other band, Mudhoney. Also contributing to the rawness of the record is the absence of Arm's trademark piano and organ. This enhances the energy, causing you to notice a more frantic, electrified side of the band. As on the debut album, Clean as a Broke-Dick Dog, several genres of music are given equal time, including the country of "Thirteen Nights" and "The Empty Place," the rockabilly of "The Weasel's in the Barn," the Eastern modal quality of "Around Again," and the noise rock of the closing number, "In the Days of the Five." The Monkeywrench have grown in their ability to craft a song, and the result is a masterpiece.

In 2017 BRAT FARRAR returns with his third record, simply untitled like its predecessors. Like its sisters this record is all guns blazing and shifts effortlessly from punk to shoegaze and other far-reaching places. Forty years of experimentation by a group of artists around BLIXA BARGELD and without resting on their laurels. Blixa Bargeld, NU Unruh, Alexander Hacke, Jochen Arbeit and Rudolph Moser put into the mixer Sonsoles industrial sound, their beats from the 90s or their more complex work of the last stage in which around the versatility of the year of the Rat, in the Chinese horoscope, they create a cast of genuine songs that defines every category to create a genre in itself.

El Desvän del Macho is a group that has always gone "to his ball". They marked territory, more than 20 years ago, with "Hermana Violencia", their debut album, showing a unique personality and musical vision in an overwhelming and almost defiant way. New full-length album by El Desvän del Macho after twelve years since the release of his previous album "Lumbar" (Alehop !, 1996). The recording took place in Ángel Kataraín's studios, although Iñaki Bengoa, a friend of the band and producer of previous works, participates in the technical assistance. Recorded with Arkaitz Garay on drums, Vicente Mijangos, who was commissioned before this instrument, appears simply as a collaborator, like Ibon Urizar on trumpet and Rafa Ferreira in the sequences and samplers. As in all his previous LPs, one of the songs has lyrics adapted from José Anitua. In this case it is "El clavo", although all the others correspond to compositions by José. The same happens with music, since the singer and guitarist is responsible for all the songs except in the case of "Installation and thickness of sin" in which he was assisted by Aitor Berastegui. The cover is of similar quality to that of the previous works. A group that takes care of this type of detail in a meticulous way, in this case, with the help of Murky, one of those responsible together with his partner Eva from the label, they present a subway scene with lights and monochrome monitors. As in the case of "Lumbar", the distinctive that Murky designs for the label is a coffin, clearly influenced by the sinister tone registers worked by the group.

99.00 DUB MANIFEST (Esan Ozenki records 2000), is the title of Fermin Muguruza's second solo album. Now, 20 years after its publication, we present a careful double vinyl edition, a format in which it was not originally published. This album was recorded with the band that helped him present his acclaimed Brigadistak Sound System live and went on a 2-year tour with it. The album has 3 extra remixes: Javi P3Z and Xabi Pery remix Big Beñat and Rude does the same with Dub Manifest. Everybody dance!

Martin Rev and his fourth album followed Suicide's Why be blue album from 1992. Released by the Roir label, sixteen songs with melody cuttings instead of defined structures, showing the power of R&B distilled through a keyboard and with the same sentimental or poetic tone as the Jonathan Richman or Chet Baker recordings. A nostalgic portrait of NY with romantic energy about, by and for the metropolis.

Martin Rev's fifth solo album was created at the cusp of the millennium. Angry, electric music, condensed in the memories of the doo wop he heard on the transistor in his childhood. Close to Panasonic, specifically Mika, the original release was carried out on the Finnish label Puu, with traces of contemporary music and track electronics with rhythmic loops and Rev's voice in wild and hypnotic mod.

Neon Vampire is a band from Cádiz that was born as the natural evolution of their previous project, Champagne, with which they released three studio albums and performed concerts throughout the Spanish geography, performing at renowned festivals such as Ebrovisión or Not Without Music. The project takes its name from a dream of its leader from which the song that turns the sound of the group arises. This twist of the screw brings together the essential ingredients of the influences that have marked the tastes of the group members in their music: vocal harmonies with Wilsonian overtones, synthesizers in the purest ELO style, atmospheric guitars, exciting bases and organic acoustics that create a nuanced sound.

A ghost walks through Bilbao: the ghost of Al Karpenter, the only wild rocker able to restore the hard core of the true rebel music.From the times running his legendary Brutus fanzine to playing the role of Andy Warhol as commissioner of a tribute record in the 40th anniversary of the first Velvet Underground album ("A Gran Bilbao Tribute To The Velvet Underground & Nico"), he arrives now in a trio format with a biographical single where he bares himself. 'The Chosen One' features the distinguished presence of key players of the Basque leftfield music scene such as Mattin (from Billy Bao) and Loty Negarti. In 1975 Alex Chilton went into the Ardent Recording Studios with producer Jon Tiven and out of some tumultuous recording sessions came a number of loose and unpolished gems, which would ultimately become the "Bach's Bottom" album. Munster is proud to present this 7" featuring previously unreleased alternate versions of three of those tracks, another instance of Alex Chilton magic.

Starting with two guitars, an organ and vintage drum machines, they immediately forged a raw and powerful sound somewhere between garage rock and psych lo-fi, while recently they have been joined by a drummer hammering through their opiated layers of reverb. Their intense, noise-filled live performances are accompanied by mysterious visual elements, and besides their own headlining shows the band has also played with Jacco Gardner, The Wand, Girls Names and as part of the Reverence Festival Party.In early 2015 they recorded their "Sonic-Shaped Life" LP at an analogue studio, which will be released this autumn by Munster Records.
