Big words, but Ultracuerpos are very hard to describe musically as you probably guessed. Vintage Detroit hardrock meets the 60s r&b sound of Stax Records would be my take on'em, it's incredibly infectious soulful rock'n'roll played with a lotta heart. Alvaro Dorda is probably the best Spanish r'n'r singer I've ever heard, and the rest of the band back him up perfectly with their superior musical abilities. These guys sure aint youngsters and must've been in tons of bands before Ultracuerpos. Some of their songs reminded me of Lincoln Street Exit for some strange reason. . I'd have to say Ultracuerpos) was one of the biggest and most positive surprises I received for this issue, my friends in Dollhouse will freak when they hear Ultracuerpos, haha .
