Sheltered behind vocal melodies inspired by the Surf sound of the 60s and hypervitaminated PunkPop rhythms, Marrajos arrive from the shores of Cabo de Gata, a Power trio of dangerous sharks who have no other intention than to represent on stage the living image of summer. Our music draws from the influence of the surf music of the Beach Boys or Dick Dale in terms of vocal melodies, but getting closer in terms of execution to groups like our beloved Los Summers, Airbag, F.A.N.T.A. or The Queers. The idea is to mix beautiful vocal atmospheres with the punk rhythms of the Ramones and thus create a never-ending summer party. We have the immeasurable joy of presenting our first LP, Primera Ola, produced in Chapina studios by maestro Juan Luís Escamilla (Compro Oro) and with the invaluable collaboration both in the recording and in some songs by Juantxo and Francis (Los Summers). As a final culmination, our beloved label, Family Spree Recordings, the most punk rock label on the coast, releases us the album. I hope you enjoy it at least half as much as we have enjoyed bringing it to life.
