At the end of 2015, Indy Tumbita (Vigo 1977), guitarist for bands such as Los Duques de Monterrey, Thee Tumbitas, Pedrito Diablo & Los Cadáveras or Joao Tomba, began to work on his first solo instrumental album “Bay Vibrations”. An album in which you can find influences from both the Spaghetti Western, the Amazonian sound, flamenco and jazz, always with the characteristic incendiary and vibrant style of Indy Tumbita. For the live presentation of this work, Indy Tumbita surrounded himself with a series of outlaws who go by the name of The Voodoo Bandits. Dangerous people with gifts for black magic who fit like a glove to the guitarist of the olive city. In 2018, Indy Tumbita & The Voodoo Bandits enter the studio to record their first 7 "(" Surfing Halloween "/" Love from Mars "), two new instrumental pearls that delight lovers of Dick Dale, Santo & Johnny , The Ventures or Link Wray to name some of the great names of the genre. After the single, a live Ep (New River. London) and several Christmas Ep's, they begin to work on the songs that are part of their first album "Cocodrilia: Cumbia Surf a la Tumbita's Way", some of which have already been uploaded. to the network as an advance during the last months. Now, along with other new songs, the Family Spree Records label publishes the first LP of the Vigo band. An album with influences from chicha or psychedelic cumbia from bands like Los Destellos or Los Mirlos without neglecting his taste for the big names in surfing such as Dick Dale or Link Wray. It is an album recorded practically live in their reference bar “A Casa de Arriba” (Vigo), from where they have a hard time leaving, and mixed in Eclipsis Studio by Paco Serén.
