The Government was born 12 years ago in Madrid, with the clear idea of practicing a robust rock and roll, seventies cut, agile, related to black music and punk-rock. They define their style as "Punk-Soul", and in their particular mix you can see references such as MC5, Minutemen, The Dirtbombs, Chamber Brothers, Dr. Feelgood, The Jam, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Reigning Sound, Meat Puppets, Radio Birdman, or Wilson Pickett among others. Formed by Guti (Terrier, Call me Idiot), David (Del-Shapiros, Los Disparos) and Guille (Los Chicos, William Folkners), the band will be presenting their second LP, “Vote me Tender” by the Folc label Records.
