During the summer of 2021, SÖLAR have undergone very drastic changes in their line-up with the addition of Darío Peña on vocals and Jonny Brooks as second guitar. To give continuity to the album Breaking Schemes, they decide to get into the recording studio in August with Carlos Hernández Nombela (El Castillo Alemán – Madrid) to give a new twist and sound to some of the songs on their recently released LP. “Breaking Schemes 2.0” symbolizes many things, with almost prescient lyrics, the band, which has been forced to make internal changes, has remade itself with the forcefulness and quality that characterize them. The theme chosen had to be this, because of the substantial changes it brings and because of the concept of rupture. Because everything that breaks can be repaired and restarted. SOLAR too. You just had to believe in this new era, a sunset that brings with it another solar sunrise that continues with energy in a scene that has never left.
