Quick Overview

I don't know what to make of Supertubos. The opening track "Tablonazo matutino" sounds like it could break into a heavy metal song, but breaks into a spaghetti western style surf riff reminiscent of Dick Dale.

The second song "The Demeter" has a chord progression that you'd expect from a Doors song. The synthesizer gives it a very 90s sound. It's not my personal to taste, but that's not to say it won't be to yours.
The intro of the structually complex "Hidrofobia" has a kind of 80s feel about it. Think Devo, until the lead guitar is released, and then we're onto what sounds like a modern day take of Terauchi Takeshi.
The final song Expo 2000 is completely different again, and we're almost in Sonic Youth Death Valley 69 territory, until a bubbling synth throws you off again.
Supertubos sound for the most part like the Dick Dale in the 1980s. There is however something different about every song, that nods elsewhere in terms of genre and time, making Supertubos an interesting and unpredictable listen.
