It may sound like cheese metal on first listen, but whenever did hair bands tell their fans "If you lost some weight/You might get laid" or deconstruct in their own ham-fisted way the rock they obviously love to play? Essentially a Dictators reunion, this short and sweet album has a lot of fun taking on punk and metal, four boys with toys, as they sing. Highlights include a revamp of the Dictators' "New York, New York," the exquisitely dumb "D.W.I," and the speed metal of "Fired Up." It all sounds so cute and non-threatening now, but it still rocks like crazy, and Handsome Dick Manitoba still knows his way around a shredded vocal cord.
