They've finally done it. The Anomalys, the Netherland's only "negative tequila rock'n'roll trio" trio, have finally recorded their debut LP, and what better label to present this smokin' full length than your ultimate source for sickness, Slovenly Recordings? The Anomalys tower over their lowly legions, each standing at a menacing 2 meters (in America speak, that's tall), they appear to be an animated version of the columns of the Parthenon. their live shows are spectacular displays of ruinous racket. Guitars smolder with crushing, echo-frenzied grunts and wails, and the dumb-drums get pummeled into submission. Lead by a rasp-throated screamer, these behemoth Aryans display utter rage for two sides of 100% drag-strip approved garage-punk grease with nods to the snarling and surly side of ferocious punk legends.These Dutch stinks have been laying waste to European dancehalls for years, having done time in pre-Anomalys acts such as Dexter (of which drummer Memme was a member), and The Amoks and Los Looches, of which singer and Wild Weekend resident deejay Bone was also a member. Having recruited guitarist Potlood (yes, that's his name!) The Anomalys are killing 'em dead wherever they stop (cuz they don't slow down, cuz!) and this LP is a perfect pill to amp you up for a night of going out and fucking yourself up!
